Dear Scott,
Thank you for the help with our two new trades for 2007 and 2008. Who would have believed that our South African timeshare, that we bought with your help, would allow us the numerous luxurious vacations that we have taken with our family. From the Pelican and Atrium in St. Maartin, to the most incredible two bedroom suites at the Grand Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta, we have had the greatest memories that we were able to share with our children and grandchildren. The topping on the cake was the stay at Pueblo Bonita at Sunset Beach in Cabo San Lucas. We had four suites that were as large as apartments.
Your help in guiding us with your expertise allows us to continue to vacation in style. We are definitely the "smartest ones at the pool".
Yours truly,
Susan and Jerry Glass . NJ
Hi Scott,
Glad to see your business is going well. I thought I would take the time to write to you about my experience in buying South African time shares. Originally, I called your office back in the fall of 2000 to buy an advertised timeshare at the Vistana in Orlando Florida. After talking for a while, you had me quite interested in the concept of owning a high demand resort with low yearly maintenance fees. I was floored when you gave me your RCI account to check out what South Africa could pull in for trades through the RCI exchange system. After using your account for a weekend to see what was available by trading the South African timeshare to resorts I really wanted to go to, I decided to buy a one bedroom unit in South Africa. I was extremely skeptical, but this turned out to be the absolute best decision I could have made. We really like to go to Florida every year on vacation and this is a snap with SA. Once the week was banked with RCI, I started searching and immediately confirmed a two bedroom place at Orange Lake Country Club. Resort was absolutely gorgeous and it only cost me my yearly maintenance fee, ($140/yr) and my exchange fee within RCI($ 139). If I was going to stay at this resort and pay a daily rate it would have cost me over $ 250 for just one day. Amazing!!!! The second confirmed trade was a two bedroom unit in North Conway New Hampshire at Crown Ridge Resort in August of 2001. Again, beautiful resort & amenities at a fraction of the cost. The next trade I have confirmed is with at Williamsburg Virginia at the Sunterra Powhatan Plantation. This is also a two bedroom unit and we will be going there this June 2002. Owning South African timeshare is the way to go for sure. Along with the great trading power Mt Amanzi has given me, you and your staff have given me absolute unsurpassed customer service and this is without a doubt the best part of owning a timeshare. Thank you again for showing me the key to vacationing at premium resorts through trading South African timeshare.

update
Hi Scott & Sandra,
I just got back from North Conway, New Hampshire. I traded for this timeshare late (sometime in the beginning of April) but boy did I get a nice place. I technically confirmed a 1 BR 4/4 at Eastern Slope Inn but because my trade was on Sunday (I think) and normally the Suites at Eastern Slope trade on Sundays (from what the salesmen tell me), I got a dream place. Downstairs had a jacuzzi tub full bathroom, full kitchen except for oven (but it had a two burner stove top), fireplace, dining room. The living area downstairs had a full couch pull out double with a murphy bed double (bed that pulls out of the wall - this would have been fun for the wife and me if we didn't already have kids). The upstairs had a full bathroom, jucuzzi tub next to king size bed, 56" TV in corner, fireplace, and a couch that also pulls out. It also had a mini kitchen upstairs with a sink & frig. The resort also had an indoor pool with a hot-tub/whirlpool built in which was great for the kids. I could have slept eight people comfortably.
I also got my mothers SA week traded for the Vistana for April vacation 2005 (which is the same week I have already confirmed) so they can have their own place on vacation with us. This works great as that should be a blast when that vacation rolls around.
Thanks again,
Jeff & Lisa Olson
again
Hey Scott,
A quick note to let you know the SA trades are going great for both my Mom and me. We just came back from a week at Greensprings Plantation in VA. We both had exchanged in for the same week and ended up with the whole floor (4 bedrooms, 4 baths). Not too bad for the six of us. I almost got lost we had so much room. Next up is another vacation with Mom and Dad as we both have exchanged for April 2005 school vacation week at Vistana in Orlando. Again, we both have 2 bedroom units (sleeps 8, private for 6) so I am hoping this place is as nice as Greensprings.
I've also confirmed vacations for myself for next July 2005 and August 2005. In July we are going to Eagle Village at Tamiment in PA. The place is a two bedroom, sleeps six and is private for six and is right on Lake Raiment. I'm planning a nice relaxing trip with a fair amount of fishing involved on that trip. In August, I've confirmed into Attica’s Mountain Village in NH. Even though I've confirmed a 1 bedroom (sleeps 6, private for 4), I was told this particular exchange will get me into the newest section which I heard is definitely gold crown quality. Anything less than 1 BR, 6/4, full kitchen option and you will end up in the older section which is not quite as nice.
As far as mom and dad they are absolutely tickled pink with the places they have gone to. They go to Pocono raceway every June and July to watch the NASCAR race and they always have to stay at a flea bag motel about 30 miles from the track. Well, I started searching for next year’s race date and I found a place at Split Rock Lake Harmony about 7 miles from the track. This is a 2 BR, 6/6, full kitchen and is also right on the lake. They can't wait to go and spend a week down there and catch the race on Sunday.
I almost feel guilty for some of the places I've traded into but then I keep reminding myself this is America and he who finds the best deal wins.
I guess the next trade I'm going to shoot for is Aruba for June 2006. Now this one is intriguing as I've spent a fair amount of time experimenting online with the Caribbean (with much time lost at actual work). I think my best bet on this in what you had told me back about a year ago. I'll by my plane tickets when rates are good and then look for and exchange on short notice. I noticed back in June when I did online searches, there was a pretty decent selection within two weeks as I assume people cancel reservations and these weeks get dumped back into RCI's bank. I will make back-up plans just in case but feel pretty confident that this will work out just fine.
Actually, when you have a chance, send me a few more of your business cards as I just looked and I gave my last one to Kim the other day.
Thanks again for the Great Deal. I will keep you in the loop.

Dear Scott,
I must say I was a bit skeptical when my friend Susan told me about what a great deal it was working with you. My husband and I had twice gone through timeshare talks and had almost been sold on locations for much more money than our South African deal. Since Susan is pretty frugal yet demanding, we decided to trust her. And I am so glad we did!!! We have now gone skiing in Banff Canada, touring in Marbella Spain, and skiing at Vail. We have also given my Mother a great vacation in Branson as well as using RCI to find a hotel room in Nashville when all other avenues failed (and we got a fantastic rate!)
To say we love you and RCI is an understatement. It has made traveling affordable and created some fabulous lifetime memories.
It also doesn't hurt that we can brag to my in laws at what a great deal we got, (they bought in Sodona and Disney for LOTS $$$$ more with no extra benefits)
The happy Traveling Oyens
Dear Scott,
TC and I had a great time in Maui. We were able to trade our 1-bedroom South Africa for Maui the week of our anniversary-and even on short notice. The resort was beautiful and in a great location. We have already begun to search for our next trade. Within 5 days we had the following two possibilities (which we were unable to accept due to personal schedule conflicts).
1. A 2-bedroom suite at Paniolo Greens on Hawaii during Spring Break
1. A Suite on the beach in Kauai.
We are thrilled with the value of our timeshare and are looking forward to many more great vacations.
Thanks, TC and Autumn Gosch
Hi Scott,
We would like to express our appreciation to you and Sandra for your ongoing assistance in handling the problems that sometimes occur with RCI. Your help quickly gets us over the obstacles we occasionally encounter. We are very happy with the timeshares we purchased. In just a few years we have traded for a great resort on the island of Kauai, a great resort in Puerto Vallarta and have gone to Palm Springs 3 times. Each experience has been a treat for my wife and I and we are yet to be disappointed.
I also want to thank you for helping to decide which resort in Puerto Vallarta to visit. It's is a real advantage to talk to someone who really knows the properties.
PS. We are thinking of going to Italy next year for our 10th anniverary. We would like to spend some time around Portfino and maybe another week somewhere else. Several of your clients have mentioned great vacations in Italy. Where and when would you recommend we go? Thanks again for all your help.
Best Regards,
Greg and Delyn Meyers
THANK YOU Scott,
Being first time users of our timeshare, we have now officially confirmed that it is and will be a worthwhile investment. Thanks to you and your recommendation of the Mayan Palace, Nuevo Vallarta, we had a dynamite trip. We appreciate the step by step help that you offered us and the immediate attention you gave whenever there was a question. Thanks to you Scott, we are now over our fear of "what did we get ourselves into" and we are looking forward to planning our next trade while we continue to recommend RCI and Scott Riddle to other prospective buyers.
Sincerely,
Matt and Shellie Hander

Dear Scott:
Sydelle and I wish to thank you for your help and advice in purchasing and trading our South African timeshares. As you know, we were reluctant to purchase the property for a variety of reasons. However, we decided to take the plunge and do it. That was our lucky day. Dealing with you is a pleasure. You are straightforward, honest and incredibly helpful.
RCI has told us that our South African property trades better than most of their other properties. Several of my friends have purchased timeshares from you and they too are very happy. Thank you again for all your help.

Dear Scott,
We have been very pleased with the 3 South African timeshares we have purchased. We have been able to trade them for The Inn at Otter Crest and Gleneden on the Oregon Coast, convenient for us since we live in Oregon. We also traded for Eagle Crest, a beautiful resort near Sisters OR. A month ago we spent a week at a condo in San Miguel de Aliened, Mexico and next month we are going to New Orleans for a week - all on trades. We consider it a special treat to have traded for 2 condos in the same week for Maui, Hawaii in May of 2003. We will celebrate our 25th anniversary there and will be able to invite friends and family to enjoy the condos with us.
Even though we were not familiar with condo ownership before our purchase of the South African ones, we have been very pleased with the results. Without exception, all of our trades have been in exceptional properties. We may even get to our home resort in South Africa one of these days.
We very much appreciate your friendliness and ongoing helpfulness, and we look forward to perhaps seeing you in Texas when we travel through on our way to New Orleans.
Thank you, Scott.
Sincerely,

Scott,
I wanted to write you a note to tell you how pleased Fran and I are with the timeshare we bought from you. Our first trade was for the July 4 week in a two bedroom unit at the Mayan Palace Nuevo Vallarta! I could not believe how easy it was to make that trade. Unbelievable! Considering how much money we have spent over the last three years on family vacations, I can tell you this is the best deal going. We can’t wait to take our trip!!
Fran and I were extremely suspicious about this program. As intriguing as it sounded, we really did think it was a deal “too good to be true”. Now I know it is a reality. Thank you for taking so much time with us to answer all of our questions. Your service is second to none, and I am proud to tell my friends and acquaintances about you, without reservation. If you are ever in need of a reference, please let me know. I look forward to working with you and to taking many more great family vacations in the years to come.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Stephen and Fran Brown
Dear Scott,
Jeff and I just came back from staying at the Sheraton Broadway Plantation in Myrtle Beach. We had a wonderful time and the resort was very nice. I would definitely recommend staying there.
